Recipe for Aloo Gobi (Cauliflower) Shallow Fry - Aloo Gobi Shallow Fry Recipe

Aloo Gobi shallow fry will be good for chapatis and hot rice. This will be a better combination for all the variety rices as well.

Cauli flower chopped - 1 cup
Potato chopped - 1 cup
Onion chopped - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - 1/2 tea spoon

Oil - 2 tea spoon
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tea spoon
Jeera - 1/2 tea spoon
Garlic chopped - 1/4 tsp
Ginger chopped - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for seasoning

Method of preparation:

Heat 3 tsp of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. Once the mustard seeds are popping out, add Jeera. Add the chopped onion, Garlic and Ginger after Jeera is popping. 

Saute the onion for 2 mins then add turmeric and chili powder and stir them gently.

Now add the chopped Cauliflower and potato to the pan and add some salt. Stir them nicely until it observes all the spices. No need to cover the pan. Stir them frequently to avoid getting burnt. Check one piece from the pan to make sure it is cooked out well. 

Usually this cooking process might take 10 to 15 mins. Add the chopped coriander on the top and serve them hot.
