Recipe for Aloo Gobi (Cauliflower) Shallow Fry - Aloo Gobi Shallow Fry Recipe

Aloo Gobi shallow fry will be good for chapatis and hot rice. This will be a better combination for all the variety rices as well.

Ingredients:
Cauli flower chopped - 1 cup
Potato chopped - 1 cup
Onion chopped - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - 1/2 tea spoon

Oil - 2 tea spoon
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tea spoon
Jeera - 1/2 tea spoon
Garlic chopped - 1/4 tsp
Ginger chopped - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for seasoning



Method of preparation:

Heat 3 tsp of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. Once the mustard seeds are popping out, add Jeera. Add the chopped onion, Garlic and Ginger after Jeera is popping. 

Saute the onion for 2 mins then add turmeric and chili powder and stir them gently.

Now add the chopped Cauliflower and potato to the pan and add some salt. Stir them nicely until it observes all the spices. No need to cover the pan. Stir them frequently to avoid getting burnt. Check one piece from the pan to make sure it is cooked out well. 

Usually this cooking process might take 10 to 15 mins. Add the chopped coriander on the top and serve them hot.

How to make Gobi Manchurian Fry - Recipe for Gobi Manchurian Fry Recipe


Here is the recipe for Gobi manchurian Fry:

Ingredients: (serves 2 adults)

1. Gop - 500 grams
2. All purpose flour(maida) - 200 grams
3. Oil - 1/2 liter

For Marinating:

1. Ginger garlic  paste - 1 tsp
2. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
3. Chilli powder - 1 tsp
4. Salt - 1/2 tsp (as per your taste)

For seasoning:

1. Onion (small) - 1/2 cut in lengthwise
2. Green bell pepper (small) - 1/2 cut in length wise
3. Maggi hot & sweet sauce - 2 tsp
4. Ketchup sauce - 2 tsp
5. Garlic (chopped) - 2 cloves
6. Coriander leaves - some

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the cauli flower thoroughly in the water and cut the cauli flower like big cubes.
2. Take a big bowl add all marinating ingredients with cup of water and mix it well with cauli flower. Soak the mixture for at least 30 mins.
3. After 30 mins, add all purpose flour to the mixture and mix it well.
4. Now heat the oil in the pan and deep fry the cauli flower. Once its ready keep it aside.
5. Heat 2 tsps of oil in a medium size pan, add the onion and and fry for a minute and then add the chopped garlic and green bell pepper. Fry for another minute and then add the fried cauli flower and sauces. Now mix it well together. Finally add chopped coriander leaves.

That's it now yummy Gobi manchurian is ready.

How to make Garlic Fried Rice - Recipe for Garlic Fried Rice with Sauteed Vegetables - How to make Garlic Fried Rice with Sauteed Vegetables - Lunch Box Menu

IHi there..It's been a while since I have posted some recipes..I thought of this great, delicious but very simple recipe for people who wanted to prepare quick lunch/dinner or for lunch box. Other day I have prepared for myself and my husband for lunch box..It came out really well and we both liked it and also people who tasted during our lunch at work :)

Ingredients for Garlic Rice:

Rice - 1 cup (Soak them in water for 10 mins)
Garlic - 4 cloves chopped
Garlic powder - 1 tsp
Cooking Oil - 2 tsp

Ingredients for Sauteed Vegetables:

Red onion - 1 small (cut into square)
Cauli flower - 1 handfull
Broccoli - 1 handful
Yellow Squash - 1 (medium size)
Green squash - 1 (medium size)
Bell Peppers(all colors) - 1 handful
Olive oil - 2 tsp
Italian seasoning powder - 1 tsp
Italian dressing - 2 tsp
Salt - as per the need

Method of preparation:

1. Cook the rice with 2 cups of water and cool it.
2. Heat 2 tsp of oil in the pan and add the garlic powder and chopped garlic. Fry for a second and add the rice with some salt. Keep in low flame and fry for 2 mins. Switch off the stove and keep it aside.
3. Now heat 2 tsps of olive oil in the pan and add the Italian seasoning .
4. Fry for a second and then add onion, Cauliflower. Sprinkle some salt to the vegetables and fry for a minute.
5. Now add broccoli, squash, bell pepper and Italian dressing. Mix it well.
6. Add some salt and cook for 3-4 mins.

That's it !!! Dry this sauteed vegetables with garlic rice..


The good thing about this recipe it is very easy and could be made under 12 mins. This is one of our favorite to go lunch box menus. There no spice in the vegetables, kids also would love this food.
